Elsie H. Vary, passed away Oct. 15 at Phoebe Home. Born in Allentown she was a daughter of the late Frank and Ida (Yost) Nikisher. Elsie was the wife of the late James M. Vary who passed in 1989. She had worked at the former Lehigh Valley Shirt Co. as well as other area mills. Elsie was a former member of St. Stephen's of Hungary Catholic Church. Survivors: Daughter, Monica wife of Raymond Kern; grandchildren, Kristie and Andrew; sisters, Hilda Zalutsky, and Jean Weber. She was predeceased by sisters Erna Smith and Margaret Dougherty. Services: Will be held on Thursday at 11AM. A calling hour will be held from 10AM till time of service, all at Weber Funeral Home, 1619 Hamilton St. Allentown.
