Obituary

Elsie Anna Domitrowich, 92, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2008. She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph A. Domitrowich, a well-known Allentown businessman, who passed away on April 19, 1982. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late John and Karolina (Brunner) Steiner of Burgenland, Austria. Although she lived most of her life in Allentown, she resided in the home of her daughter, Carol, who provided dedicated, loving care to her for the last several years. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker, she dedicated her life to her family and friends. Elsie was an excellent cook and baker, specializing in Olde World European favorites, many of which she learned from her mother, such as: strudels, Hungarian goulash, and palatschinken. Elsie had a wonderful sense of humor. She was blessed with kindness and generosity which she lovingly and freely gave to others. Everyone could always count on her for help in their time of need. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Survivors: Son, Joseph R. and wife Nannette Domitrowich of Cupertino, CA; daughter, Carol A. Domitrowich of Whitehall; grandchildren, Zachary Lee and Amanda Jo Domitrowich of northern California; sister, Lillian, wife of Harry Keller of Quakertown; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, John, Frank, William and Herman Steiner and a sister, Erna Steiner and infant Emma Steiner.
