Ella Mae Albert, 87, of Allentown died Wed., Oct. 21, in Manorcare Nursing Home, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Charles "Bing" Albert for 40 years until his death in 1998. Born in Allentown; she was a daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Bartholowitch) Kropf. Ella Mae was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Allentown. She was a sewing machine operator for Nina's Sportswear for 20 years until retiring in 1992.
Survivors: Daughters, JoAnn Oppold, and husband Jeff of Kunkletown, and Kathy A. Oertner, and husband Siegfried R., Jr. of Mahanoy City; Sons, Bing Charles of Allentown, and Albert Cassium and wife Emma of Utah; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
