Obituary

Elizabeth “Betty” Pastor of Allentown, Pa, passed away in her sleep on May 8, 2026, at the age of 90. She was born in Allentown, PA to the late: Michael and Marie (Puskas) Petrakovich and was predeceased by her loving husband John “Louie” Pastor in 2018, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage. She graduated from Allentown High School in 1953. Elizabeth retired from the Allentown State Hospital in 1991 after 35 years as a medical secretary. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and hosting Sunday dinners, and on their annual trips to Stone Harbor. She was an excellent seamstress and also made candles and crocheted. Elizabeth was a member of St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church in Allentown. She is survived by her two daughters: Ann and husband Timothy Ruth and Betsy and husband Lee Solt. Elizabeth was a tender loving and generous “BhaBa” to her two grandchildren Lauren Ruth - Fiancé Christopher Beers and Anthony Solt. She devoted her whole life to her family and will be greatly missed. She was also predeceased by her siblings Michael Petrakovich, Marie Garger and Joseph Petrakovich and her mother-in-law Anna Pastor.

A funeral service for Elizabeth will be held at the Weber Funeral Home, 502 Ridge Ave. Allentown PA 18102 on Saturday May 16, 2026 at 11am. Relatives and friends may call from 10am until the time of the service. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 547 N. Krocks Rd, Allentown, PA 18106.
