Elizabeth S. Kennedy 83 of Allentown passed away into God's hands Sunday June 27th, 2010 in her home surrounded by her famiily who loved her dearly. Born June 1st, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Barber and Amini (Howard) Sohpy. She attended Allentown High School. She worked 33 years for Western Electric, retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. An avid bowler and golfer, she treasured all the good times and gret friends she made along the way. Family was most important to her. She lived well, loved much and laughted often. Survivors: Daughters Donna M. Koch of Allentown, Colleen K. Bear of West Virginia, and son Thomas E. and his wife Janice A. of Allentown. Granddaughters Heather Davis, Shanna Brad and her husband Mike and Colleen Kennedy. Great Grandsons Dallas and Aiden, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Barber Jr. and George Sophy, sisters Minerva George, Mary Latsch and Ruth "Honey" Raad. Services: A viewing will be held on July 2, Friday, from 9:30-11:30 am both at Weber Funeral Home, 502 Ridge Ave. Allentown.
