Eleanor Elaine Held, of Coopersburg, passed away on January 4 ^th at the age of 87. She was born in Bethlehem to the late: Nicholas and Lena (Kovacs) Madack and was predeceased by her husband Joseph E. Held in 2015, and her Sister: Mary Shivek and Brother Bela Madack. Eleanor had worked as a secretary for Bethlehem National Bank and for 10 years as a staff assistant at Muhlenberg College in the Financial Aid Department and was best known for being a loving wife and mother and enjoying her grandchildren, who made her face shine when they were around her. Her memberships included St. Josephs Catholic Church, a quilting club, County Side Garden Club, and Bridge Club. She was an avid Phillies fan, liked to watch tennis, play pinochle with friends and loved gardening around her house. She is survived by her Children: Debra and husband Dennis Eisenhart, Eric and wife Sherry Held, and Andrew and wife Jennifer Held. Grandchildren: Michael and wife Karla, James, Bethany, Alexandra, Amy, Matthew, and Braden and a Great Grandchild on the way. A viewing will be held on Monday January 11 starting at 9:00AM to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM both will be at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Coopersburg.
