Elaine E. (Bean) Hankel French, 82, of Allentown, PA, formerly of Maryland, passed away September 19, 2007 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp., PA. She was the wife of Stanley W. French, Sr. for the past 39 years. Born in Derwood, MD, she was a daughter of the late John and Ruby (Carter) Bean. Elaine was co-founder of Bettar Appliance Company of Kensington, MD.
