Eileen, 73, of Salisbury Township passed away May 15, 2014 at The Quakertown Center with family surrounding her in her final days. She was born July 29, 1940 in the Bronx, NY to the late Helen and Basil Brennan. She is predeceased by her sisters Joan, Helen and Katherine. She was a member of St. Thomas More Parish since its founding in 1966. Starting in 1983 she worked in radio sales as an account executive for WSAN AM and then WXKW FM, ending her career with Clear Channel Communications in 2007. Before that she worked as a high school English Literature teacher at St. Barnabas High School in the Bronx, NY after earning a Masters Degree in English Literature from Hunter College. She would tell you that her favorite career was that of loving mother and homemaker to her children and that of a devoted grandmother to her 11 grandchildren. Some of her other interests included spending some time at Trident Pool watching her grand-kids splash around, going down to the Jersey Shore to put her toes in the sand, catching the occasional Lafayette Football game on a clear Fall afternoon, and enjoying Celtic Fest as it came around every year.
