Edwin F. Erkinger, 94, of Allentown, passed away September 28, 2017. Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Frank and Adolfine (Schmidt) Erkinger. Edwin is survived by his loving wife, Nellie (Grifo); they had celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary on September 21st.

Edwin was a veteran of WWII. He retired from the PA Department of Agriculture as a health inspector. He is remembered as an avid vegetable gardener and loved to take walks.

SURVIVORS: Edwin is survived by his 7 children, Richard (Judi), Antonia (Ronald Buck), James (Debbie), Barbara (Dr. Michael Brodsky), Matthew (Kelly), Christina (Mark Moyer), and Michele (Rich Sniscak); 15 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 7th from 10am until the memorial service at 1130am all at WEBER FUNERAL HOME 1619 Hamilton Street, Allentown
