Edward Henry Muehleib

Edward Henry Muehleib, 88, of Allentown, died Jan. 21, 2015 at Lehigh Valley Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late August and Mary (Matsick) Muehleib. He was the husband of Dorothy M. (Wagner) Muehleib with whom he celebrated 66 years of marriage with on Nov. 15th. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII where he was a plank owner and gunner on the U.S.S. Rankin. He was employed by the Allentown Fire Department until retiring in 1991.

Survivors: Wife, Dorothy; Daughter, Kathleen Lehr and her husband Robertjohn of FL; Grandchildren, Sarah Swoyer and her husband Robert and Jason Lehr and his wife Michele; Great Grandchildren, Frances Swoyer, Emelia Lehr, and Olivia Porch. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert.

Services: 11:30 AM, Fri., Jan. 23, 2015 at Weber Funeral Home, 1619 Hamilton St., Allentown. Viewing: 10:30-11:20 AM, Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow the services at Grandview Cemetery. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com).
