Edward W. Granitz, 71, of Allentown passed away on January 24, 2014. He was born in Allentown on November 19, 1942 to Agnes (Gensits) and the late William Granitz. Ed served in the U.S. Air Force, was an active volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, and was a past member and president of the S. Whitehall Lions Club. He is predeceased by sister Eleanor Reis.

Survivors: Wife of 41 years, Rita; mother; sisters Diane Stupak and husband James, and Jane Wagner and husband Mark; many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

Services: Visitation 9-10:15am, and Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am, both Monday, January 27 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1046 W. Cedar St, Allentown.
