Edward M. Funk
Edward M. Funk 71, of Lancaster passed away on March 17 in Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Millersville, PA, he was the son of the late Elvin and Lily (Martin) Funk; he was the wife of Joanne (Marks) Funk, they would have celebrated 54 years of marriage this year. He was a member of Millersville Bible Church. Edward worked for Armstrong World Industries, retiring in 1992; he also enjoyed opera, reading and spending time with his family.
Survivors: Wife, Daughters; Donna Prince-Funk wife of David Prince Sr. of Lancaster. Tamara, wife of James Ratliff of Lancaster. Son; Michael, husband of Frances (Cortez) of Fleetwood, PA. Brother; Richard of Lancaster, Sister; Clara of Elizabeth Town, PA., 9 Grandchildren & 14 Great-Grandchildren, and his faithful dog, Duke. Edward was predeceased by 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
Services: Visitation Friday, March 27, 1-2:30pm followed by services at 2:30pm all in the New Danville Mennonite Church. Online condolences can be made to www.weberfuneralhomes.com
