Edith M. (Grosz) Crews, age 98, of Allentown, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 peacefully at Whitehall Manor. She was born May 23, 1923 in Allentown, the daughter of the late Frank E. and Dora (Kleinsmith) Grosz.

Edith worked as a sewer for over 30 years at Schneider's Manufacturing in Allentown. She thoroughly enjoyed playing bingo, going to the theatre, and playing cards. She was an active member of Dubbs Memorial U.C.C. and St. John's U.C.C. of Fullerton.

She is survived by her seven children, Beatrice (Paul) Menges and Barbara (Robert) Menges both of Allentown, Francis (Rebecca) Krobath of Arizona, Norman (Virginia) Krobath of Delaware, Arthur (Susan) Keiper of Florida, Charlene (Daniel) Nunnemaker of Northampton, and Barry (Maryanne) Keiper of Fleetwood, Pennsylvania; 29 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 16 years, James "Jim" E. Crews in 2001; one brother, and four sisters.

Professional Services are entrusted to Weber Funeral Homes, P.C. A Public Viewing will be held Friday, November 19, 2021 at 9:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 10:30 AM, with Pastor David Quinn officiating, all will be held at Weber Funeral Homes, P.C., 502 Ridge Ave, Allentown, PA 18102. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
