Earl R. Schneck, 89, formerly of Allentown, died Monday, October 27, 2008 at the residence of his son, Matthew R. Schneck of Kutztown. He was the husband of the late Barbara Jane (Sage) Schneck. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Earl and Marguarite (Romig) Schneck. Earl was a first class meter installer for PP& L for over 37 years before retiring in 1985. He was a member of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Allentown. He was a veteran of WW II serving with the US Navy and a founding member of the Queen City Radio Control Club. Survivors: Sons, Matthew R. and wife Channa with whom he resided, Russell C. of Allentown; Ten grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Scott S. Schneck in July 2006.
