Donald Lees, 81, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday June 12, 2014. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, son to James Lees and Regina Toomey Lees. He was a loving husband to his wife Mary and they celebrated 50 years of marriage together last year. He possessed extraordinary ambition and an entrepreneurial spirit and through hard work, vision and leadership he developed and operated varied businesses over the course of his lifetime before successfully settling into the fire and water damage repair/construction field, where he was a founding owner of LeMont Corporation and which later became FireDEX. Even after reaching the age at which many of his peers were already long enjoying retirement, Don continued to pursue new business opportunities with vigor unrivaled by those half his age. His enthusiasm and enjoyment for business was matched by a strong sense of compassion and abundant generosity towards others. He was an active member of Saint Joseph's church in Limeport and enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling.
Survivors: wife Mary, son Paul and wife Kellie of Allentown; son Damon and wife Anna of Collegeville; daughter Maureen Lees Porter of Reading; and 7 grandchildren.
