Dolores "Dolly" R. Brown, age 93, of Center Valley, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023 at St. Luke's Hospice in Bethlehem. She was born June 10, 1930 in Allentown, the daughter of the late Herman and Dorothy (Stein) Stengel.
Dolly graduated in the Class of 1948 from William Allen High School. She pursued many fields of endeavorment, enjoying each and every one. She will be remembered for her many years working at the Allentown Fairgrounds Market and the Brass Rail Restaurant. During that time, she married the late Gene Fritzinger and was blessed with four children. In later years, she met and married Jim Brown and together they enjoyed many adventurous and happy years. She enjoyed over 25 years of being a "snowbird" with her Jim in Florida and Mexico. Dolly considered her family her greatest achievement in life and with love and pride she watched them grow and flourish.
She is survived by daughter, Lyn Dittemore and partner, Jeffrey Keiser of Allentown; son, Scott (KathyMarie) Fritzinger of Bethlehem; three grandsons Evan Fritzinger of Center Valley, Nathan, and Zachary Fritzinger of Hellertown; daughter-in-law, Tracy Fritzinger of Center Valley; granddaughter-in-law, Chrissy Dittemore of Bethlehem; and three great-grandchildren, Lindsay, Jacob, and Thomas Dittemore.
In addition to her parents and late husbands, she was predeceased in 2014 by son, Geno Fritzinger; in 2018, grandson, Cory Dittemore; and in 1959 daughter, Debbie Fritzinger.
Services are private and at the discretion of the family. Interment will be in St. Joseph Calvary Cemetery in Coopersburg.
