Diab A. Azar
Diab A. Azar, 79, of Whitehall, PA, passed away April 25, 2008 surrounded by family at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. Born in Amar, Syria he spent most of his adult life in Maturin, Venezuela before immigrating into the United States in 1989. He was the loving husband of Josephine (Doumith) Azar with whom he celebrated 45 years of marriage. He enjoyed the company of family and friends and had a passion for gardening, playing cards and watching sports, especially boxing and horse racing. He was preceded in death by a daughter Marisol Azar.
Survivors: Loving wife, Josephine; Son, Sam; Daughter, Dunia; Brothers, Jamil and Aziz; Sister, Zakieh; Grandchildren, Daniel and Marisol; nephews, nieces, and extended family members.
Services: 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at First Presbyterian Church of Allentown, Cedar Crest Blvd and Tilghman St., Allentown. Viewing: 9:30 - 10:45 A.M., Wed., at the church. Services entrusted to Weber Funeral Home. Entombment in Grandview Cemetery. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
