David Joseph Vlahovic, of Macungie, passed away August 30 ^th , 2018 at the age of 82. Born in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Steven and Mary (Basko) Vlahovic. David is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Marcia Ann (Ritter) Vlahovic.

David attended Emmaus High School before serving our country in the United States Army. After, he worked at General Machine Co. in Emmaus as a sheet metal layer for 13 years, then Western Union Telegraph in Allentown as a sheet metal layer and assistant foreman for over 20 years, and then at G.M. Ketchum Co. in Long Island, NY as a foreman for 5 years. He was also a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

SURVIVORS: In addition to his wife, Marcia, he is survived by his two children: Kathleen Vlahovic of Schnecksville, PA and Christopher Vlahovic of Lansdale, PA and his grandchildren: Justin, Kyle, Alexandra, Julianna, and Devon.

David was preceded in death by his siblings, Dorthea, Stephen, Edward, and William.

SERVICES: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 11am. A viewing will be held from 10am until the time of service, both at St Thomas More Catholic Church 1040 Flexer Avenue Allentown, PA 18103. Burial with military honors will follow at Resurrection Cemetery 547 N Krocks Rd, Allentown, PA 18106.
