David Strauch, 82, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg, surrounded by family. Since 1993, David received exceptional support through Keystone Human Services in Whitehall, PA, under the care of Service Director Dina Haas, Life Sharing Coordinator Eileen Gentile, and their dedicated staff.

David was known for his gentle spirit and warm smile. He found joy in life's simple pleasures - savoring his daily cup of Starbucks coffee, watching the morning routines of his household, and building connections with those around him. An adventurous soul, David treasured family trips to Disney and Houston and delighted in overnight stays at hotels throughout the Lehigh Valley area.

For over thirty years, David was a cherished participant at The Arc Of Lehigh & Northampton Counties, where he formed meaningful bonds with staff members who recognized his unique personality. There, he thrived with individualized attention, special outings, and activities tailored to his interests and preferences.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Mathilda (Pizzolato) Strauch and Edwin Strauch. He is survived by his devoted life-sharing provider, Leah Gadson, and her extended family who welcomed him into their lives and hearts.

A viewing for David will be held at Weber Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 10 am, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 am and burial at Arlington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Keystone Human Services or The Arc Of Lehigh & Northampton Counties in David's memory.
