Darlene "Dolly" E. Barrett, 52, of Allentown passed on peacefully, July 8, 2007, surrounded by the love and support of her family. She was married to T. Vince Barrett. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of late Alfred and Evelyn (Gorman) Hughes. Dolly was employed in the restaurant business most of her working years and also did home care and volunteered for Lehigh Valley Hospice. Making other people happy and feeling that they mattered in life was most important to her. She enjoyed her life and all the people who shared it with her. Her family was Dolly's best asset and credits them with the strength through her fight with cancer. Survivors: Husband; son, Jeremy Mann; daughter Shannan Barrett; sisters, Judy wife of Paul Mondovich and Winnie Hughes; niece, Darcy Mondovich; nephews, Donnie Mondovich, Paul Jr., Joe, and Mike and 10 great nieces and nephews.
