Dale R. Litzenberger, 77, of Allentown passed away on February 17, 2016. He was born in Allentown, PA to the late Harry and Dorothy (Dougherty) Litzenberger. Dale was the loving husband of 56 years to Sandra (Santee) Litzenberger. He worked at Wackenhut Security, Allentown, Central Catholic H.S., Superintendant of Lehigh County Juvenile Detention Home, and retired from Lehigh County Prison as Captain. He coached basketball and baseball at Downtown Youth Center, baseball for the East Side Rams, Adult and Girl's basketball at Immaculate Conception, basketball at Penn State Lehigh Valley, and basketball at Sacred Heart School of Bethlehem. He also helped coach with the Special Olympics in Bethlehem. Dale was also the President for 16 years of the Allentown MORA club.

Survivors: Wife Sandra; sons, Michael and fianc Kristie, and James; daughter Denise, wife of Anthony Saraceno; 6 grandchildren: Matthew, Meghan, Anthony, Christopher, Elizabeth, and Christina; and 3 sisters: Betty Peischl, Dolly Holler, and Jean Fischl, all of Allentown. He was predeceased by a brother Carson.

Services: A viewing will be from 6-8pm on Sunday, February 21 at Weber Funeral Home, 502 Ridge Ave., Allentown.
