Claudette Y. Martin, 77, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully February 15, 2021. Born in Guyana, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Marjorie (Everald) Meredith. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Lascelles Martin.

After graduating high school, Claudette went on to graduate from Bronx Community College. She worked in the district attorney's office in New York and eventually as a CNA in Washington, D.C. Claudette loved cooking, baking, and sewing her own dresses. She was a loving mother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Claudette was also very strong in her faith.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons: Louis Martin, and Leo Martin and his wife, Rehab Tabchi; grandchildren: Naomi and Jericho Martin, five siblings, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing by three siblings.

A viewing will be held on Friday, February 19th, 2021 from 9AM until the service at 11AM, all at Weber Funeral Home 502 Ridge Avenue Allentown, PA 18102.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Claudette's name to the American Cancer Society or Feeding America - No Kid Hungry.
