Clara Piker, 89, passed away Nov. 18 at Phoebe Home in Allentown. Born in Shamokin she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Mary (Scotko) Chapleski. Clara was the wife of Frank A. Piker for 57 yrs. prior to his passing in 1998. She worked as a beautician in her home from 1964-1974. Clara was a former member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. When her health failed seriously she was blessed with the care, comfort, and society of the staff of Phoebe Nursing Home who treated her as one of their family. Survivors: Daughter, Carolyn wife of Victor Cavacini of Allentown; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren;siblings, Gerald Chapleski and Alma Lamb of Allentown. She was predeceased by a sister, Florence Tuckett, and by brothers, Gilbert and Leonard Chapleski Services: Memorial Mass, 11am Sat. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 920 S. 2nd St. Allentown.
