It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher Daniel Spyridon, a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, son-in-law and friend.
Chris was the beloved son of the late Spyro and Gloria Spyridon, and brother to Marguerite, Mark, Jamie, Damian, Gabrielle, and Tom. He was a beloved uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
Faith and family were Chris's world, especially these past ten years.
Chris' faith was the cornerstone of his existence. His unwavering faith and deep love for Jesus guided him in every aspect of his life. He exemplified love, forgiveness, and compassion. His life was dedicated to serving others and sharing his spiritual journey. Chris was an active member of Faith Church in Allentown, PA.
Chris was a devoted husband and father. He shared 43 years of marriage with his wife, Annmarie. Together, they built a strong foundation of love and created a home filled with warmth and laughter. His love for his three children, Jaclyn (Dan), Daniel (Erin), and Michael and knew no bounds. He was an adoring papa to Jaden, Liliana, Adeline, and Gianna in Heaven.
Chris's love extended beyond his immediate family. He was a pillar of support and a helping hand to anyone in need. His willingness to lend a listening ear, offer guidance, and provide assistance endeared him to all who crossed his path. His selflessness and genuine care for others left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.
Chris had a distinguished career as a firefighter and retail manager. During his earlier years, Chris served as a firefighter, in Bronx, NY with Ladder 73. He then transitioned into a retail management career, where he spent 30 years with Home Depot in high level management. He was known for his ability to inspire and motivate his team. His commitment to providing excellent customer service and creating a positive shopping experience made him a respected figure in the retail industry.
Christopher Daniel Spyridon will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His legacy of love, faith, and kindness will continue. He was a blessing to all who knew him. As one friend said, a Unicorn.
2 Tim 4:6-8. KJV. "For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing."
Services will be held February 10th with a Calling for paying respects from 11:00 AM. until 12:30 PM.to be followed by a Service from 12:30 - 3:00 PM both will be held at Faith Church 6528 Hamilton Blvd, Allentown, PA 18106
