Chester R. Litz
Chester R. Litz, 90, went home to our heavenly Father on May 26, 2006 at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. Born in Bethlehem he was the son of the late Floyd G. and Rachel (Weidner) Polster Litz. He was the husband of the late Amy (Hall) Litz. Chester was a member of the Harvest Baptist Church, Whitehall. He served in the Army Air Corp. during WWII. He worked for Bethlehem Steel in the laboratory. He was very patriotic about his country, running for Congress in 1967 under the Constitutional Party. He was a member and former vice president and treasurer of the Flag Day Association.
Survivors: Daughters, Carol A., wife of Tom Fenstermaker, of Allentown and Jane E. Ivey of Pottstown; Brother, Floyd G. Litz, Jr. of Bethlehem; Grandfather of 4, Great grandfather of 6.
Services: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 31 at Weber Funeral Home, Inc., 1619 Hamilton St., Allentown. Visitation: 9:00 A.M. until time of services. www.weberfuneralhomes.com
