November 10, 1927 – December 14, 2020
Charles Yaindl, of Allentown, passed away in his sleep on December 14 th at the age of 93. He was born in Allentown, Pa to the late Stephen and Anna (Garza) Yaindl and had been married to his loving wife Gloria (Butz) for the past 70 years. He graduated from Allentown High School in 1945 and served in the Navy during WWII. After his discharge, he worked his way up from a draftsman to an engineer, starting out at Aldridge Pump, Ingersoll Rand, Worthington Pump and finally for Durabla Valve Inc. as the Chief Engineer, holding 11 pump patents. He was an avid model airplane enthusiast, and was a member of Lehigh Valley Radio Control Society. Survivors include: wife Gloria, Sons: the oldest, Duane and wife Kathleen, Bruce and wife Teri, and the youngest, Eric and his partner Tina. He leaves behind 7 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren and a sister, Margaret Sovecka. Services are Private.
