Charles Herbert Wescoe, III
Charles "Chick" Herbert Wescoe, III, 76, of Allentown died December 20, 2010 at Green Meadows, Allentown. Born in Norristown, PA on November 29, 1934; he was a son of the late Charles and Ida (Roth) Wescoe. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Allentown and a life member of the Mercantile Club, Emmaus. He received a bachelor's degree from Muhlenberg College in 1956 and a Master's degree from the University of Kansas in 1963. He spent the year of 1959 studying Russian at the Army Language School in Monterey, CA. He taught French and Spanish in the Allentown School District for 23 years. He also taught in the districts of Whitehall, PA and Kinnelon, NJ. He was an avid student of seven languages. He was predeceased by a brother, Raymond.
Survivors: Sister, Lois Kurzeja of Wellesley Island, NY and two nieces and one nephew.
