Charles William Stangl
Charles William Stangl, 77, formerly of Allentown, died June 25, 2010 at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Charles and Stella (Donweber) Stangl. He was a member of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed by the Pillsbury Co. in the sanitation department for 32 years. He was a member of the Catholic Faith. He enjoyed his cars, trucks, NASCAR racing, and hanging with the boys at the coffee shop. He was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Jones.
Survivors: Sisters, Lorraine, wife of Dale Weinsheimer, and Patricia, wife of Frank Mattes; Brother, Robert Stangl; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 10:00 A.M. Tues., June 29, 2010 at Weber Funeral Home, 1619 Hamilton St., Allentown, PA. Viewing: 7:00 - 8:30 PM, Mon., June 28 and 9:00 AM, Tues., June 29 until time of services at the funeral home. Interment in Cedar Hill Memorial Park. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
