Charles J. Kuronya, Sr.
Charles J. Kuronya, Sr., 82, of Upper Saucon twp., passed away on Nov. 9, 2014 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the loving husband of Barbara J. (Vogler) Kuronya for over 61 years. Born in Hellertown, PA; he was a son of the late Charles and Mary (Hasse) Kuronya. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Charles was an estimator in the engineering department for AT&T for over 36 years until retiring in 1984. He was a past master and mason at the Masonic Temple in Troy, NY. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW in New Jersey. Charles is predeceased by a daughter, Jill Palmentieri, a sister, Helen Mazsa, and a granddaughter, Cheryl S. Palmentieri.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; Son, Charles, Jr., husband of Barbara; Granddaughters, Allison Kuronya and Cindy Palmentieri-Rose, wife of John; two nieces, Lona and Marlene.
Services: Friends can call upon the family starting at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 13th at Norcross-Weber Funeral Home, N. Main and Oxford Sts., Coopersburg, PA, with a Memorial service to follow at 11:30 AM. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
