Charles H. Knapp Jr., of Allentown, went home to be with our Lord & Savior on June 17, 202 at the age of 90.  He was born in Temple, Pa to the late Charles H. Sr. and Emma (Curtis) and was predeceased by his wife Barbara A. (Kurzeja) of 64 years and his son David.  Charlie served others humbly in love.  Maybe you were one of the blessed people to cross paths with Charlie.  If so, then you received a smile and a kind word or compliment.  He was one of the friendliest people; it did not matter if you were family, friend, or a store clerk.  Charlie had worked as a Math Teacher at Dieruff High School, as a Guidance Counselor at Allen High School, and for Bethlehem Steel. Charlie was very active at Seibert EC Church and then at Horizon Church along with Waldheim Park, all in Allentown.

Survivors: Son William C. Knapp and wife Kathleen. Daughter Kathy L. and husband Lee A. Walck, 6 Grandchildren: Jenn (Brian) Bell, Anthony (Samantha), Eric, Sean, Lee-Adam (Cassie), and Heather (Kevin) Walk-Weikert. Great Grandchildren: Harrison A. Walk and Reilly L Weikert. Services: A Memorial Service will be held at Horizon Church, 2613 West South Street, in Allentown. A date will be announced once it is safe to gather.
