Charles "Charlie" R. Bartholomew Jr., 76, of Kunkletown, passed away peacefully October 26, 2023 due to complications from Parkinson's Disease. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Charles R. Bartholomew Sr. and Bertha (Nuss) Bartholomew. Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Marilyn (Holzer) Bartholomew.

Charlie was honorably discharged from the US Air Force. He achieved the rank of staff sergeant and served during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of William Allen High School. Charlie was a member of the United Carpenters and Joiners Union for 60 years. He was an avid outdoorsman.

In addition to his wife, he will be lovingly remembered by his children: Robert Bartholomew and Lisa Kase; a grandson, Logan Kase; and siblings: Richard, Donald, Carol, Bonnie, Brenda, Susan, and Donna.

He was preceded in passing by his parents and a sister, Janet.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charlie's name to the Parkinson's Foundation.
