Cecilia Groves, 88, of Allentown, died Dec. 6, 2014, at her daughter's residence in Allentown. Born in Palmerton, PA, she a daughter of the late Joseph and Cecilia (Kral) Stibrany. She was the wife of the late Herbert G. Groves for 47 years until his death in 1994. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Allentown. She worked for Cedar Crest Apparel and H. Leh & Co. for many years. She was predeceased by a sister Mary, and six brothers, William, John, James, Michael, Joseph, and Frank.

Survivors: Daughters, Diane, wife of Jeffrey Brant of Northampton and Jane Adams, fianc of Matthew McGrady of Allentown; Grandchildren, Tina, Mark, and Ashley; six Great Grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.


Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 A.M. Thurs., Dec. 11, 2014 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 336 N. 4th St., Allentown.
