Cecilia Bauer, 98, passed away in Chandler, AZ. on Sunday June 20, 2021. She was born in 1922 in Coplay, PA. She lived in the Allentown area until 2010 when she moved to Arizona to be nearer to her daughter. In 1942 she and her husband Edward were married until his passing in 1999. Cecilia's maiden name was Bauer and her married name was Bauer, this brought smiles to a lot of faces. She dedicated her life to her family.

Her parents emigrated to the U.S. from Austria through Ellis Island. She enjoyed watching baseball on TV and was quite a Phillies fan. She also enjoyed watching Edward play his music in his band and they took a number of vacations together.

She is survived by her son Edward (Karen) and her daughter Cecile (Robert). Three grandchildren Jennifer (Frank) Jamie (Steven) and Christopher. She is also survived by six great grandchildren: Courtney (Alex), Hugh, Caitlin, Callie, Aiden and Jewelene.

She is predeceased in death by all of her 8 brothers and sisters.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. A viewing will be held from 9AM until the time of service, all at the Cathedral Church of Saint Catharine of Siena 1825 W Turner St, Allentown, PA 18104. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
