Catherine Amanda Konold

Catherine Amanda Konold, 96, passed away on October 8, 2016 at her residence in Upper Saucon Twp. Born in Quakertown, she was a daughter of the late Frank A. and Mabel V. (Heist) Swauger. She was the loving wife of the late Elwood J. Konold for 50 years until his death in 2001. Catherine enjoyed hand stitching quilts and spending time with family.

Survivors: Sons, James and David Konold; Daughters, Elaine Hottenstein and her husband Kenneth, Janet McCloskey and her husband Donald, and Barbara Zapach and her husband Michael; Sister, Irene Schweitzer; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services: 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 13, 2016 at NORCROSS - WEBER FUNERAL HOME, Main & Oxford Sts., Coopersburg, PA. Viewing: 10:00 - 10:45 AM, Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow the services at Blue Church Cemetery.
