Catherine Neimeister

Catherine "Kitty" Neimeister, 92, passed on November 14, 2014 at Arden Courts of Allentown. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Pauline (Serwatck) Rishko. Catherine was married to Joseph C. "Hank" Neimeister in San Diego, California, and was his loving wife for 54 years until his death in 1998. She was predeceased by a son, Joseph C. "Jace"; a sister, Ann Rishko; and a brother, Charles Rishko. She graduated from the Wilfred Academy of Hair & Beauty Culture in Philadelphia, owned and operated Kitty's Beauty Lounge in Allentown, and served as president of the ABWA Allentown chapter. She was a member of the Cathedral Church of St. Catharine of Siena, Allentown. Kitty loved to bowl, dance, play cards, and spend time with her growing family.

Survivors: Son, James Neimeister and wife Karen of Ohio; Daughter, Donna Yale and husband Wilson of Allentown; Grandchildren, Bradley Yale and wife Jeanine, Christopher Yale, Jonathan Yale, Mark Neimeister and wife Jess, Jillian Neimeister, Jessica Neimeister, and James Neimeister; Great Grandchildren Hollis, Owen, and Maya; Nephews, Yaroslav Tognoli and wife Carolyn, Eugene Rishko; and many Neimeister nieces, nephews, and broader family members.

Services: 10:00am Monday, Nov. 17, 2014 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown, PA; internment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
