Catherine Moncman, of Allentown, passed away on January 22 at the age of 85. She was the oldest of 3 children born in Allentown to the late Anthony and Pauline (Cherney) Moncman. Catherine was very devoted to her family and was especially happy when they were doing well. She had worked for 45 years as a staff secretary at the Allentown Hospital and enjoyed reading, knitting, cooking, baking and collecting stories and memorabilia from Queen Elizabeth II. Catherine was a devoted catholic with a special place in her heart for the nuns at the Carmelite Monastery.
Survivors: Sister Anna Marie Moncman, Brother Anthony M. Moncman, Nephews and Nieces: Dr. Michael-Gerald and wife Patricia Moncman, Anthony and wife Jill Moncman, Christina and husband Robert Mann, Timothy and wife Kim Moncman. Many grand nieces and nephews.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10Am on Saturday January 26th with a calling from 9:30-10AM both at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Allentown.www.weberfuneralhomes.com
