Catherine H. Gerancher, 87, of Whitehall Twp., died Tuesday, May 23, 2006 in Cedarbrook, South Whitehall Twp. She was the beloved wife of the Frank C. Gerancher who died February 23, 1991. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Inhofer) Verebelyi. Catherine was in small appliance sales at Hess's before retiring in 1981. During WW II, she worked for Vultee Plane Repair at Queen City Airport. She was a member of St. Stephen of Hungary Church and the ladies guild. Survivors: Daughters, Kathleen A. wife of George C. Dolgos of Allentown and Frances H. wife of Joseph Warren of Whitehall; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
