Catherine Ann Gellis, 83, of Allentown, passed away March 15, 2018. Born in Cementon, she was the daughter of the late Carmine and Mary (Trapasso) Talotta.

After graduating from Whitehall High School, Catherine was a secretary at PP&L before meeting Edward who would become her husband and best friend. They were together for almost 50 years until his passing in 2004. Catherine happily spent her married years as a homemaker and mother. Her love for her huge family will always be a pillar and inspiration. She fought through her life's battles with unwavering faith in God until the day He took her home to be with her husband, her son Carmine, and all of her other loved ones who had passed before her.

SURVIVORS:  Sons, Andrew F. of Allentown, Stephen E. of Macungie, Edward J. Jr. of New Mexico, and Paul M. of Whitehall; daughters, Rosemary A. Mowday of Harrisburg, Diane M. Taylor of Macungie, Christine A. of Whitehall, and Ann C. Arey of Whitehall; 20 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; her sister, Marie Nederostek of Allentown, and several nieces.

In addition to her husband, Catherine was preceded in death by her son, Carmine.

SERVICES: A viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 6-8PM at Weber Funeral Home 502 Ridge Avenue Allentown. A second viewing will be held from 9-10AM on Wednesday March 21, 2018, also at Weber Funeral Home.
