Carolyn D. Price, 88, passed away at Moravian Hall Square in Nazareth on Dec. 30. Born in Quakertown she was a daughter of the late Francis and Caroline (Heft) Deaterly. Caroline was the wife of the late Thomas John Price who passed in 2004. She was a long time resident of Coopersburg. Carolyn was a Penn State graduate receiving her bachelors degree in Home Economics Education. She taught home economics in the Southern Lehigh School District for many years. Carolyn was a long time member of Coopersburg Moravian Church were she was very active in church activities. She was also a member of Delta Gamma Sorority, and the Coopersburg Historical Society. Survivors: Son, Thomas J. "Tim" Price of Coopersburg; daughters, Margaret Price Brown, wife of Bryant Brown of Spring Valley, Kathryn Price, wife of Richard Barsotti of Topsham, VT.; grandson Glendon Brown. Services: Graveside service 9am on Sat. Jan. 5 at Quakertown Union Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at 10am at Coopersburg Moravian Church, 234 S. Main St. in Coopersburg.
