Carol Laura (Trexler) Ruth, age 82, of Sinking Spring, PA, passed away Friday, April 1, 2022 in the care of the Reading Hospital ICU. She was born September 27, 1939 in Sinking Spring, the daughter of the late Matthew Henry and Laura Isabella (Freed) Trexler.

Carol graduated in the Class of 1957 from Wilson High School, West Lawn , PA. She was an avid bird watcher, loved the color of sunshine yellow, and very much enjoyed reading books. She was also a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed by all of her family and friends.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Edgar Lee Ruth of Sinking Spring; two daughters, Megen L. Hancik and Marta L. Lamm; two grandsons and their wives, 1 great-granddaughter, and 3 great-grandsons; and brother, Eric M. Trexler and wife, Dale Brinkerhoff-Trexler.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Merrill L. Ruth.

Services will be private.
