Carmen Rosa Martinez, of Allentown, passed away on December 13th at the age of 71. She was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to the late Francisco and Lydia Reyes an was predeceased by her husband Jose Martinez, Sons Jeranfel and Jose Daniel Hernandez, Siblings Francisco Jr. and Raquel. Carmen received her GED and her CNA, in 1986, as a member of the first graduating class offered by the Hispanic American Association. She went on to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 6 years at Holy Family Manor and then for Cedarbrook Nursing Home for 20 years.
Survivors: Children: Marco Antonio Hernandez, Luis Anibal Martinez, Carmen M. Pagnano, Alejandro Martinez, and David Martinez. Siblings: Hilda, Lydia and Wilfredo. 18 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.
Services: A visitation will be held from 3:00 to 6:00PM on Sunday December 17th at Weber Funeral Home, 502 Ridge Ave., in Allentown.
