Carlin A. Solomon, of Allentown, passed away on December 3rd at the age of 73. He was born in Allentown to the late: Samuel and Rose Marie (Valenza) Solomon and was married for the past 54 years to his loving wife Lorraine (Janowiak). Carlin had served as a Corporal with the U.S. Marine Corps and then had worked for PP&L as a multi Crew Forman for 32 years, retiring in 1995. He was a member of St Paul's Catholic Church and an active member at the Fearless Fire Co. in Allentown. Carlin was predeceased by siblings Samuel Jr., Joseph, Bruce, Beverly, and Jacquelyn Gornick. Survivors: Wife Lorraine, Daughters: Cheryl Balla and Husband James, Theresa Stephen and Husband David, Michele Keller and Husband Brian, Colleen Heiss and Husband Daren, and Jennifer Stevens and Husband Mark. Brothers Louis, Daniel, Richard, and Kenneth. Sisters: Geraldine Huegel, Sylvia Steckle, and Margaret Solomon. 19 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren. Services: A viewing will be held on Wednesday December 7 at Weber Funeral Home, 1619 Hamilton Street, Allentown from 8:30-9:30am to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 920 S.
