Blaine J. Deppe

Blaine J. "Dep" Deppe, 87, of Green Lane, formerly of Coopersburg and Lehighton, passed away on June 13, 2015 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. Born in Lehighton; he was a son of the late Blaine U. and Marcia (Butler) Deppe. He was the loving husband of Elizabeth "Betty" (Hazzard) Deppe for many years. He was a member of New Hanover United Methodist Church, Gilbertsville. Blaine was a Crane Operator for Bethlehem Steel for 33 years. He was a life member of the Coopersburg Fire Co., Coopersburg Ambulance Corp., Lehighton Fire Co., Lehighton VFW and the Red Hill American Legion. Blaine was a member of the Lehighton Masonic Lodge #621. Blaine served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

Survivors: Wife, Elizabeth; Son, Ted Deppe; Step Son, John Good, husband of Marcia; Grandchildren, Corey Good, Lauren Good, and Colin Good, husband of Nicole; Great Granddaughters, Madison, Olivia, and Milani; and a nephew, John Bodnar. He was predeceased by a step son, Jeffrey Good.
