Betty G. Gangwer, 94, of Allentown, passed away February 17, 2016. Born in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Irene (Desch) Gangwer. Betty graduated from Allentown High School, class of 1939. She worked her entire career with Miers Insurance Agency retiring 1983. Betty was a member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church. She enjoyed travel, baking for others and supporting the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Betty's generous and loving sprit will be missed by all.

SURVIVORS: Two nephews, Joseph H. Schaffer DDS and James R. Gangwer; Two nieces, Susan E. Lucas and Gail E. Cooper; Sister-in-law, Loretta R. Gangwer; Four great nephews and three great nieces.
