Bernice Ebur, 103, passed away peacefully at Stone Ridge Towne Center on Sat. Feb. 6th and is now at rest in the loving arms of her Lord, Jesus Christ. Bernice was born to Helen and Edward Dasher on Dec. 5th, 1912. She was a life-long member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, serving in many capacities throughout the years. In her younger years Bernice began working as a double-needle feller in Lebanon, at the age of 14, and worked the same job until she retired at 62. In her later years she enjoyed spending time with her loving family and she also enjoyed playing cards. Our beloved Bernice was an amazing woman; beautiful, loving, selfless, witty, articulate and giving. She was the heart of our family and we'll miss her strength, sweet smile and funny stories every day. The family would like to thank the nurses and the aides at Towne Center, 3rd floor, for their exceptional and compassionate care and also the G.S.H. Hospice ladies.
