Bernice Helen Bowman, 81, of Walnutport, went to join her lord on December 8, 2018. Born in Fountain Hill, PA she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Grace (Trauger) Frey. Bernice is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, James M. Bowman.

She graduated from Liberty High School, class of 1955. After, she went on to be a plug tamper and packer at Hellertown Manufacturing Company, and then Easter Sales until her retirement. Outside of work she loved creating ceramics and spending time with her beloved dog, Marley.

In addition to her husband James, she is lovingly remembered by her three sons, Jeffrey, Ronald, and Craig; two stepdaughters, Virginia Louise and Brenda Sue; her two sisters, Nancy and Sandra, and several nieces and nephews.

Bernice was preceded in death by one son, Randy, one stepson, James Jr., her sister Pearl, and her brother Clarence Jr.

Services  will be held on January 6, 2018 at 4PM followed by fellowship, all at St. John's Lutheran Church 835 3rd Street Whitehall, PA 18052.
