Bernard J. Bernatovich, formerly of Allentown and currently of Emmaus, passed away on July 22 at the age of 87. He was born in Hazelton to the late John and Helen Bernatovich and was predeceased by his wife Mary Ann (Kerbacher), 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Bernard had worked for Montex Textile, in Allentown, for 30 years and then after retiring he worked part time for the 1st National Bank and the Little Apple Market as a custodian. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Allentown, an avid fan of polka music, polka dancing, playing bingo and cards.
Survivors: Sons: Edward J. and wife Debbie, Bernard J. Jr. and wife Cathy, Michael J. and wife Mary Ellen, Daughter Donna and husband Joseph Gower, 6 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Services: A viewing will be held on Wednesday July 24 from 6-8PM and on Thursday July 25 from starting at 10AM to be followed by a service at 11AM all at Weber Funeral Home, 1619 Hamilton Street in Allentown.
