Bernadine P. Janny

Bernadine P. Janny, 85, of Allentown passed away on July 20th at the Phoebe Home, Allentown. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Rose (Licht) Rawski. Bernadine was the wife of the late John "Lolly" Janny for the 52 years until his death in 2010. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Allentown. Bernadine worked at Penn State University as an administrative assistant for over 25 years. She enjoyed Polka Music; her family get togethers, her retirement and time with her grandchildren. Bernadine was predeceased by all of her eight older siblings.


Survivors: Daughters, Cindy Janny of Allentown, Patty Jurasits and her husband Jeff of Allentown; sons, John Janny and his wife Cathy of Whitehall, Philip Janny and his wife Linda of Allentown; grandchildren, Daniel and Stephanie Jurasits, Emily, Mary Rose, Kaitlyn Janny; Nieces, Patricia Schroeder, Antionette Lesko, and Theresa McDevitt; sister in laws, Frances Rupinski and her husband George and Mary Matika, all of Whitehall
