Benigna Maria Matthias, of Haddonfield New Jersey and formerly of the Allentown area, passed away on December 23 at the age of 68. She was born in Fossa, Italy to the late Quintino and Adelina (Boccabella) Ferrauti and is married to Raymond Matthias. Benigna was a graduate of Dieruff High School, the class of 1964, and of Temple University, class of 1968. She then went on to be a foreign language teacher, for over 40 years, in Pennsylvania and New Jersey school systems.
Survivors: Husband Raymond, Daughter Victoria, Son Christopher, and Brother Felice and wife Linda Ferrauti.
Services: A calling will be held on Saturday December 28 from 10AM until a service at 11AM both will be at Weber Funeral Home, 1619 Hamilton Street, Allentown. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill, NJ.
