Barbara A. (Bowers) Fidler passed away on January 8, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest in Allentown, PA. She was the widow of P. Gary Fidler who passed away on November 23, 2009. They were married for 41 and ½ years at the time of his passing. She was the daughter of the late Jean L. (Blocker) Bowers and the late Edwin A. Bowers of Allentown.

She worked in nursing for 40 years, at K-Mart for 10 years as an advertising managers, and she was an EMT with North Whitehall Ambulance for many years.

She is predeceased by her brother, Dennis L. Bowers and her sister, Linda Carol Bowers.

She is survived by a niece, Attorney Lori Ann (Bowers) Fulmer of Woodbridge, VA;  a nephew, Andrew Bowers of Bethlehem, PA; and a great Niece, Brittany J. Fulmer, also of Bryn Mawr, PA. She also had four God children in her life and a very special friend of over 50 years, Cecelia Entzminger, who she always said was her shining star.

Barb loved animals and her Gary, who she is now joining, to be together again, forever.

Services will be handled by Weber Funeral Home. They will be private at the convenience of the family. Barbara was also an organ donor.
